Play Ball!
Our home-town Vermont Lake Monsters have released their brand new 2021 FCBL schedule and it is packed with 38 home games at historic Centennial Field, right here in the Old East End. That’s right, you can literally walk to the ballpark from your own front door! So, oil up your mitt, dust off your shoes, and get that arm loose in preparation for the home opener, Saturday, May 29th against the Norwich Sea Unicorns. Tickets haven’t gone on sale yet, but follow the Lake Monsters on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the most up-to-date information.
Hold up, wait just a minute…
What is the FCBL?

The FCBL is a is a wood-bat league featuring some of the country’s top college prospects. Founded in 2011, the Futures Collegiate Baseball League’s 2021 teams are the Brockton Rox, Nashua Silver Knights, New Britain Bees, Norwich Sea Unicorns, Pittsfield Suns, Vermont Lake Monsters, Westfield Starfires, and Worcester Bravehearts. My money is on a somewhat splashy rivalry developing with the Sea Unicorns 💦
